of the Canterbury Plains, Riverflats B&B is within easy access to many destinations. 

Parallel to the main highway to the West Coast and 8 kilometres off the main North/South Highway, we 
are just a " country mile" from numerous destinations and activities as well as minutes away from all
that Christchurch City has to offer.

Jet boating ( 10 minutes ) , snow skiing  ( 1.5 hours ), bungy jumping ( 1 hour ), 
thermal pools and forest walks ( 2 hours ), wineries ( 20 minutes ), sandy beaches (15 minutes),
windsurfing ( 30 minutes ), harbour cruises ( 30 minutes ), peninsula tours with dolphins
and seals ( 1.5 hours ), whale watching ( 1.5 hours ), gondola ( 30 minutes ), historic steam
train ride ( 1 hour ), Maori cultural centre ( 30 minutes ), golf courses ( 20 minutes ).

Also within easy driving distance are lakes and rivers with world renowned trout and salmon 
fishing, wild life parks, miles of sandy swimming beaches and an astounding array
of sightseeing activities, shopping, restaurants, museums, arts and cultural activities within the
"Garden" City of Christchurch, which is the "Gateway" to the South Island.
